About DGJWC Teacher Grants

2026-2027 GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW: The DGJWC is offering $20,000 in teacher grants/professional development scholarships to District 58 and/or District 99 full-time educators. These grants/scholarships are to be used toward educational supplies in conjunction with a lesson or program the applicant feels will benefit students in a meaningful way. 

SUBMISSIONS OPEN: September 22, 2026. 
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Please complete and submit this form in full, along with any corresponding documents, no later than 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.  

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be current full-time educators or professionals in Downers Grove District 58 or District 99 who are also planning to remain full time in District 58 or District 99 during the 2026-2027 school year. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNDS & TIMELINE: All 2026-27 DGJWC grant/scholarship recipients will be recognized by December 18, 2026.  All teacher grants/scholarships must be paid out prior to June 1, 2027 or will expire. Funds will be awarded as a one-time grant or scholarship to each recipient in the form of a check from the Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club written directly to the recipient as reimbursement with proof of funds applied toward the educational resources for their classroom.
