Every fall, witches gather in Downtown Downers Grove for an afternoon of cocktails, local stops and plenty of laughs, all in support of our community.

Downers Grove Community Christian Church - 830 Maple Avenue

Spend a Saturday discovering unique products from talented local makers, artisans, and small businesses while supporting a great cause. For more than 25 years, the Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club hosted the Handmade Market, a beloved holiday tradition showcasing local artisans. As the event has grown to include a wider variety of vendors, it has evolved into the Makers & Merchants Market—celebrating both handcrafted goods and thoughtfully curated products from local businesses throughout the Chicagoland area. Proceeds from the event support the Club's operating expenses, helping us continue serving the Downers Grove community through volunteerism and philanthropy.

Our premier fundraiser, the Downers Grove House Walk, returns on Friday, May 14, 2027, featuring five beautiful homes and an expanded attendance of 850 guests. This event continues to grow, offering wonderful exposure to sponsors and tremendous support for our charitable giving.

This event will bring together neighbors and community members, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. All funds raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations will directly support DGJWC’s initiatives, allowing us to continue making a positive impact in the community we love through various programs and services!
