The Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club is built on the foundation of our diverse group of members who bring talent and experience to our organization allowing us to have fun while giving back to the community we call home.  

general Membership information

Our Membership Year is September through May.  We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month (3rd Tuesday on months with Holiday conflicts) at 7:30pm. Check the Events Calendar for updates and details!

How do I become a Member?

  1. Fill out the Membership Application and our Membership Chairs will get in touch with you and help answer any questions.

  2. Attend a minimum of 3 DGJWC events:

    • A minimum of 2 General Meetings PLUS:

      • 3rd General Meeting

      • Committee Meeting

      • Club Event (Volunteer, Fundraiser, Donation, Social)

  3. After 3 qualifying events, prospective members are eligible for induction to DGJWC! Once inducted, Membership Dues for the year are $50.

What are the expectations once i am a member?

Active members are expected to:

  • Pay membership dues.

  • Attend a minimum of 5 General Meetings.

  • Volunteer on a DGJWC Committee. Learn more here.
